Frequently Asked Questions
Which couriers can I connect to my HOD Media store?
HOD Shipping, Shiprocket, Delhivery One, Velocity Shipping, Shipmozo, NimbusPost, ShipPrime, Shadowfax, FShip, ParcelX, iCarry, Sharkship, DTDC, ShippingXpress, ParcelHub, Any local courier, Courier panels via WooCommerce, Shipday, EasyPost, Veeqo (Amazon). Most connect with your own account so your rates and COD remittance stay with you; ShippingXpress and ParcelHub receive the order and you paste the AWB back.
Do I need my own courier account?
Not for prepaid orders: HOD Shipping books them with no courier account, paid from your wallet at live courier rates. For Cash on Delivery orders, connect your own courier or aggregator account — HOD Shipping does not carry COD.
Can I use a local courier that has no integration?
Yes. On the order page pick the courier and type its AWB or docket number — the order is marked shipped and your buyer's tracking page follows it. Some couriers' status moves automatically when you have connected that courier's account; others you update by hand. Shree Tirupati Courier dockets are matched to orders and tracked automatically once you add your Tirupati login.
Can my courier panel pull orders from my store?
Yes, if the panel imports WooCommerce orders. Switch on Order sync under Settings → Shipping and approve the panel's connection — Delhivery One, Shiprocket, ShipPrime, ShipUncle and others then see your orders, and the AWB they assign comes back to the order. It is off until you switch it on.
Can I hide what is inside the parcel from the courier?
Yes. Under Settings → Shipping → Box & labels, switch on masking: couriers, labels and packing slips show a code like ORD123-1 instead of the product name. Price, quantity, COD amount and weight stay real. It applies to shipments within India.
Is Ekart or India Post available?
Not today. India Post's API needs a whitelisting step on India Post's side that is still pending, and Ekart is not available yet. You can still ship with either and add the tracking number to the order by hand.
